Rentals

A vessel powered by more than 25 horsepower requires the operator to obtain a Safe Boater Education Certificate. Under the provisions of New Hampshire RSA 270-D:14, a "14 Day Temporary Certificate" option will be made available whereby a boater who takes the test and passes it will be issued a boating safety certificate valid only in the State of New Hampshire and for only 14 days.

Y Landing Marina Boat Rental Policy:

Age Limit & State of New Hampshire Requirement

• You must be 21 to rent/drive rentals with a valid driver's license.
• The operator must possess an NH safe boaters license, a temporary, or equivalent.

Payment

• Reservations require a deposit of $100.00 per day per boat, a credit card is required to reserve a rental boat.
• Upon arrival, a *refundable security deposit of $1,000.00 will be required. The deposit can be a force on a credit card or be held in cash. 
• *The security deposit will be returned after the rental boat is checked out with no damage and the rental bill is paid in full. The renter will be charged for any damage done to the rental boat. A checklist of the damage charges will be gone through with the renter upon arrival before the rental begins.

Gasoline

• The fuel tank is full at departure provided by Y Landing Marina and will be refueled upon return. Fuel usage is the renter's responsibility and is additional.

Safety Gear

• Fully equipped with life jackets and other safety materials will be provided by Y Landing Marina.
• Any equipment misused will have to be paid for in full at the time of returning the rental.
• Anyone under the age of twelve must wear a life jacket at all times.

Pets

• Pets will be allowed on the boats if approved in advance, call for details.

Cleanliness

• Any rental boats returned extremely muddy, dirty, with food bits and/or trash is strewn about will be subject to an additional $50 cleaning charge.

Cancellation Notice

• A 10-day cancellation notice for rentals is required to avoid "No Show Charges" on your credit card. The No Show Charge will be equivalent to your deposit. In the event of bad weather, your deposit is refundable. Please call to confirm your cancellation.

Late Returned Rentals

• Pick Up time for rentals is 9:00 AM, Drop Off time for rentals is 4:30 PM.
• A late fee of $75 per hour will be charged if returned after 4:30 PM.
